Objectives:
- Develop a capacity-building program on participatory fisheries management and inclusive fisheries governance
- Conduct a capacity needs assessment for target groups using participatory tools
- Design and develop interactive training modules and guidelines for trainers
- Develop recorded training sessions and knowledge materials for capacity building
- Enable both distant and participatory methods of capacity development sessions
Location: Chandpur, Sunamganj, Kurigram (Bangladesh)
Duration of Assignment: 3 months (September 2020 – November 2020)
Narrative Description of Project: The project aims to develop a capacity-building program on participatory fisheries management and inclusive fisheries governance. The assignment includes conducting a capacity needs assessment for target groups using participatory tools. Based on the assessment outcomes, interactive training modules and guidelines for trainers will be designed and developed. Considering the ongoing pandemic, recorded training sessions and knowledge materials for capacity building will also be developed. The materials will be designed to facilitate both distant and participatory methods of capacity development sessions.
