Objectives:
The “Community-based Resilience, Women’s Empowerment and Action (CREA)” project, supported by the Embassy of Sweden, aims to increase the resilience of vulnerable communities to climate change and empower women and girls. The project focuses on collaboration with communities, beneficiaries, civil society, and stakeholders, prioritizing the voices of marginalized groups, including women, girls, persons with disabilities (PWD), and others historically unheard. The formation of the ‘Gender-Equality and Climate Alliance (GECA)’ will contribute to advancing gender-responsive climate action.
Location within Country: Satkhira, Bagerhat, Barguna, Bhola, Patuakhali, Kishoreganj Haor, Sunamganj, Shirajganj Rangpur Kurigram, Gaibandha, Netrokona, Jamalpur, Rangamati Hill Tract, Bandarban, Bangladesh
Duration of Assignment: 4 months (June 2023 to September 2023)
