Md. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury

Md. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury is working with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Bangladesh Office as a Senior Program Manager in the Social Development Sector (Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change and Water Resources). He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in sociology from Chittagong University. He has a Master’s degree in Disaster Management from the University of Dhaka with strong skills in project formulation, detail design, implementation supervision, and monitoring progress. Conduct RRA, PRA, CENSUS, BASELINE SURVEY, Participatory Action Plan Development (PAPD), Field Data Collection, Analysis & Summary report presentation, field staff management Advocacy, and Coordination with the national and international Development partners, partner organization (NGO), Government agencies, Educational institutions & Local Organizations. He also conducted impact studies and evaluations of the projects. Sound academic and working background in Disaster Management, Climate change, Environment conservation , Urbanization & Social resilience, and Agriculture extension.
