Associates for Innovative Research and Development Ltd and Concern Worldwide jointly organized a Validation workshop on “Effect of Heat Stress at Rural and Urban Context of Lalmonirhat, Gaibandha, and Dhaka (North) District of Bangladesh” on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Nascent Gardenia Hotels, Dhaka. Ms. Afsari Begum, Program Manager, Concern Worldwide provided the inauguration speech.
Mr. Abdul Haye Chowdhury, Director, AIRD, gave a short speech on behalf of AIRD. Honorable invitee participants from relevant Government agencies, renowned INGOs, and NGOs attended this event.
Dr. Md. Mafizur Rahman (Team Leader), Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan, Heat Expert, Mr. Mustafizur Rahman, Disaster Management Expert of this study team & concerned AIRD officials were present in the workshop.
The Team Leader provided the workshop presentation on the study findings. The workshop was participatory and very effective. After the presentation participants offered their suggestions.
Finally, Ms. Afsari Begum appreciated our work & closed the event with thanks to all honorable guests and participants.
