Objectives: The objective of the project is to conduct Annual Outcome Monitoring for the OVOC (Protecting Our Values, Our Children) Project in Bangladesh. This monitoring aims to assess the project’s impact on civil society and marginalized groups.

Location within the Country: The project spans multiple locations in Bangladesh, including Dhaka, Barishal, and Rangpur.

Duration of Assignment: AIRD’s engagement for this assignment spans a period of 3 months.

Narrative Description of Project: The OVOC project, a collaboration between Plan International and four Co-applicant CSOs, focuses on empowering civil society to protect democracy, human rights, and fundamental freedoms globally. It places special emphasis on addressing the needs of marginalized and excluded groups, such as Dalits, LGBTIQ+ individuals, and persons with disabilities. The project strives to promote their genuine engagement and compliance with international human rights policies, ultimately ensuring an inclusive, effective, pluralistic, and representative civic participation environment.
