Location: Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Sunamganj, Habiganj, Mowlovibazar (Bangladesh)

Duration of Assignment: 2 months (September 2022 – October 2022)

Narrative Description of Project: Oxfam in Bangladesh, with support from the European Commission, is implementing the “Empowering Women through Civil Society Actors in Bangladesh” project. The project aims to improve the lives and livelihoods of target women workers, promote gender equality in workplaces, and empower women to actively participate in the private sector, development processes, and local government policies. At the inception stage, the project plans to conduct a baseline study to capture benchmark indicators and commence a comprehensive gender analysis to assess gender power relations, access to resources, and the practical and strategic needs of marginalized women.
