Objectives: The evaluation aims to assess SONGO’s development contribution, inform replication of best practices, and provide evidence on the project’s relevance, efficiency, sustainability, coherence, impact, and effectiveness. It focuses on achieving nutrition impacts among targeted households, aiming to align objectives with outcomes and provide recommendations for improvement.
Location within the country: 6 Upazilla of Gaibandha & Kurigram District.

Narrative Description of Project: RDRS Bangladesh works with Cordaid to implement the SONGO project to address and eradicate the problem. The project caters to a diverse group of participants, including men, women of reproductive age, adolescents, and children under five. Through the SONGO project, the focus is on enhancing the local nutrition governance system, facilitating the adoption of healthier dietary habits, and improving the accessibility and affordability of health, nutrition, and WASH services within the community. By emphasizing knowledge, behavior, and access to nutritious foods and proper hygiene practices, the project aims to positively impact the health of mothers and children in the targeted districts.
