Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Protection Structures in the Host Community

Description: 

Objectives: The project aims to identify existing formal and informal protection structures in the host community, assess their roles in ensuring the availability of and timely access to protection support services, identify gaps and challenges, and develop recommendations for further programming. The evaluation emphasizes the integration of sex, age, and disability inclusion.

Location: Teknaf, Ukhiya, Ramu, Chakaria, and Moheshkhali, Bangladesh

Duration of Assignment: 3 months (July 2023 – September 2023)

Narrative Description of Project: The focus is on gathering robust, context-specific protection evidence and an in-depth protection situation analysis of the host communities, with a specific emphasis on gender, age, and disability. This involves reviewing numerous documents to design data collection tools and continuing this process until the end of the evaluation reporting.

Description of Actual Services Provided by AIRD: Associates for Innovative Research and Developments (AIRD) provided services including Inception Report, Methodology Development, Questionnaire Design (both quantitative and qualitative), Primary and Secondary Data Collection, Data Entry and Analysis, and Evaluation of the Project. Additionally, AIRD was responsible for Report Writing.
