Objectives
The project aims to empower domestic workers (DWs) in Bangladesh through a Digital Finance System (DFS). The evaluation focuses on assessing the impact and effectiveness of the Manusher Jonno Foundation’s (MJF) project in improving the financial autonomy and working conditions of domestic workers. The goal is to inform future programming in the area of DFS for this vulnerable population.
Location within Country: Mohammadpur, Khilgaon, Mirpur, Kamrangirchar, Malibag, Bangladesh
Duration of Assignment: 2 months (June 2023 to September 2023)
Narrative Description of Project: The project’s primary objective is to enhance the well-being of domestic workers in Bangladesh by implementing a Digital Finance System. The evaluation will measure the program’s effectiveness in achieving its goals and improving the financial autonomy and working conditions of the target population.
