Duration of Assignment: 5 months

Narrative Description of Project: The REECALL-21 project, implemented by the SKS Foundation in partnership with Oxfam and with support from the European Commission, aims to enhance community resilience to climate change through economic empowerment and inclusive leadership. It targets 225,000 vulnerable households in 14 districts of Bangladesh’s Haor, Char, and coastal regions. The evaluation will assess program performance, identify gaps and limitations, and capture evidence-based learning to inform future programming. Benchmark indicators will be established against objectives and outcomes at the inception stage.

Description of Actual Services Provided by AIRD:

  • Inception Report: Prepare a comprehensive report outlining the evaluation’s objectives, methodology, and approach.
  • Methodology Development: Develop a robust methodology for impact evaluation, including data collection methods and analysis techniques.
  • Questionnaire Development: Design relevant questionnaires and data collection tools for engaging project stakeholders.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Conduct primary data collection through field visits, interviews, and surveys. Gather and analyze secondary data from existing reports and literature.
  • Monitoring of Project: Monitor project activities, progress, and outcomes in depth. Identify challenges and opportunities for improvement.
  • Report Writing: Prepare detailed reports summarizing the evaluation findings. Include an analysis of programme performance, strategic gaps, limitations, and best practices. Provide evidence-based recommendations for future programming.
