Description: 

Objectives: The project aims to develop course materials and conduct training on “Natural Resource Management” as part of its collaboration with 17 organizations, including relevant public agencies. The goal is to reduce gender-based violence, build community resilience to climate change impacts, and strengthen the capacities and responsiveness of public institutions in the same areas. The training course targets the development of knowledge and capacities of Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), NGO personnel, and Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) staff.

Location: Bangladesh

Duration of Assignment: 10 months (March 2022 – December 2022)

Narrative Description of Project: The project focuses on reducing gender-based violence and enhancing community resilience to climate change impacts. It collaborates with 17 organizations, including public agencies, to strengthen the capacities and responsiveness of public institutions in these areas. The assignment involves the development of course materials and the delivery of training on natural resource management to CBOs, NGO personnel, and MJF staff.

Description of Actual Services Provided by AIRD: Associates for Innovative Research and Developments (AIRD) provided services such as developing a Training Module, conducting Training, assessing the progress of participants’ knowledge, and submitting Reports. The training course aimed to enhance knowledge and capacities in natural resource management for the targeted groups.
